Every project is managed by our Principals.
Meet John Iddles
John is Agon’s CEO and a Principal Environmental Scientist with over 30 years of experience in environmental consultancy across Australia and the UK.
He specialises in contaminated land, waste management, asbestos, and occupational hygiene. John is highly skilled in directing complex technical projects, leading major contracts, and aligning delivery with client expectations.
His leadership has driven strong commercial performance and operational growth across multiple offices. Known for his strategic insight and deep industry knowledge, John continues to shape Agon’s vision while delivering practical, safety-led environmental solutions.
Meet Steven Sherrington
Steven Sherrington is a Principal Environmental Scientist at Agon Environmental, based in our Queensland office. With over 20 years’ experience, he brings deep technical expertise and a risk-based approach to project delivery.
A Certified Environmental Practitioner (CEnvP), Steven holds an MSc in Environmental Science and a BSc (Hons) in Applied Science & Mathematics. He has led environmental management, permitting, and compliance projects across infrastructure, resources, Defence, and construction. Meet Jon Todd
Jon is the COO at Agon, responsible for corporate management, strategic direction, and overall business performance. With over 20 years of experience in the construction and engineering industries, Jon has a unique background spanning engineering, legal, and commercial disciplines.
He has successfully led major projects across commercial building, resources, infrastructure, and oil and gas sectors. He established Agon’s laboratory and wastewater business stream and continues to drive innovation and service expansion.
His experience working with consultants and contractors allows him to manage complex, multidisciplinary projects and deliver strong, sustainable outcomes for clients and stakeholders.
